Polar von Pegnitz is a beautiful 10 month old German Shepherd. This gorgeous and multi-talented lad is a Captain Picard at heart, as he lives to explore. That is why he is always ready for a walk, full of anticipation for what the day might bring. He stays mannerly close to you during outings. And Polar meets dogs face-to-face with no issues and finds a group walk to be a cinch. This sable-coated boy is a true love bug who enjoys giving you kisses and being rubbed all over by you. He knows his “Sit” and “Down” commands and takes treats very gently. He comes into playgroups with his comfortable demeanor. Of course, exploration of the yard is an absolute must but, after that, it’s time to engage in play with the other dogs! He has a reciprocal play style but seems tolerant of more rowdy pups. Polar is doing well sharing space with other dogs at the rescue. This boy is the gem you’ve been looking for! (No cats please.)
